Stauning Danish Whisky, located near the town of Stauning on Denmark’s west coast, was founded in 2005 by a group of professionals and friends with diverse backgrounds: engineers, teachers, chefs… They decided to embark on this wonderful project, which continues to grow today.
Among their range of spirits, the special editions and the Rye, Traditional, and Peated lines stand out.
Stauning Whisky is the only Danish whisky producer that uses 100% Danish malted barley and rye, combined with a meticulous process using copper stills for distillation.
Thanks to this dedication, they produce a high-quality whisky that has received numerous awards and is listed in the Whisky Bible as one of the top brands.
They also offer guided tours of their facilities, where they explain the whisky-making process and host tastings.
“We control every part of the whisky-making process to preserve the essence of handcrafted spirits, which is why we seek high-quality products and materials for each step.
We use industrial burners from the Flames VLC TT Series because they adapt perfectly to our copper stills and provide excellent power, helping us work the product effectively.
Since they include safety valves, they’re ideal for indoor use, and the even flame distribution makes the distillation process much easier.”
